Refund Policy
Review required before launch. This policy is a drafted starting point, not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a qualified adviser, and replace every bracketed placeholder, before you rely on it.

1. Summary
We want you to get what you paid for. If a product we sold you is broken or is not what its description said it was, tell us within 14 days and we will fix it or refund it.
Because our products are digital and are delivered immediately, we do not refund change-of-mind requests once a download has started. Custom development work is governed by its own contract rather than by this policy.
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to software products, WordPress themes, plugins and other downloadable items bought through this website. Section 7 explains how professional services are treated.
3. The 14-day window
You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if any of the following applies:
- the product does not work as described, and we cannot resolve the problem within a reasonable time;
- the product is materially different from its description, demo or documentation;
- the download or licence key was never delivered and we cannot deliver it;
- you were charged more than once for the same item, or charged in error.
We ask that you contact our support team first. Most reported problems turn out to be configuration or environment issues that we can fix quickly, and a working product is usually a better outcome than a refund.
4. What we do not refund
- Change of mind after the product has been downloaded.
- Buying the wrong item where the product page described it accurately. We will usually offer an exchange or credit instead.
- Lack of a feature that was never advertised, or a feature request we have not agreed to build.
- Incompatibility with third-party plugins, themes, hosting or server configurations that our documentation does not claim to support.
- Problems caused by modification of the product’s code, or by your own server, hosting or network.
- Requests after 14 days, unless a statutory right applies in your jurisdiction.
- Renewals of support or update periods that you have already used.
- Custom or bespoke work, which is covered by section 7.
5. How to request a refund
Email [SUPPORT EMAIL] with:
- your order number and the email address used to buy;
- the product name and version;
- what you expected and what actually happened; and
- screenshots, error messages or logs where relevant.
We acknowledge requests within [ACKNOWLEDGEMENT TIME, e.g. 2 business days] and aim to decide within [DECISION TIME, e.g. 7 business days]. If we need more information to reproduce the problem, we will ask.
6. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different card or account.
Once we approve and submit a refund, the funds typically appear within [SETTLEMENT TIME, e.g. 5 to 10 business days], depending on your bank or card issuer. That part is outside our control.
Where a payment provider or bank charges a non-refundable transaction or currency-conversion fee, we may deduct that fee from the refund. Any such deduction will be stated when we approve the request.
When a refund is issued, the associated licence is revoked. You must stop using the product and remove it from your sites.
7. Professional services
Consulting, development, implementation, audit, migration and support engagements are not covered by the 14-day product window. They are governed by the applicable proposal, statement of work or contract, which sets out fees, milestones, acceptance criteria and termination.
As a general position:
- Work already performed and expenses already committed are payable.
- Deposits secure scheduled delivery capacity and are normally non-refundable once work has begun.
- If a deliverable fails agreed acceptance criteria, we will correct it at our own cost. Where we cannot, we will refund the fee attributable to that deliverable.
- Retainers and managed services can be cancelled with the notice stated in the contract; unused prepaid time is handled as that contract specifies.
8. Subscriptions and renewals
Where a product is sold with a recurring subscription, you can cancel at any time to stop future charges. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current period. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
If an automatic renewal is charged and you contact us within [RENEWAL GRACE PERIOD, e.g. 7 days] and have not used the product in the new period, we will normally refund it.
9. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank without contacting us first, we may suspend the associated licence and account while the dispute is resolved. Please talk to us first — it is almost always faster.
10. Fraud and abuse
We may refuse a refund where we reasonably believe a request is fraudulent or abusive, including repeated buy-and-refund patterns or continued use of a product after a refund. We may also decline future sales to an account in those circumstances.
11. Your statutory rights
This policy sits alongside your legal rights and does not replace them. Consumers in some jurisdictions have mandatory rights that cannot be excluded, including under Nepal’s Consumer Protection Act 2018 and, for consumers in the European Union and United Kingdom, rights concerning digital content. Where a statutory right gives you more than this policy does, the statutory right applies.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version in force on the date of your purchase applies to that purchase.
13. Contact
Refund questions can be sent to [SUPPORT EMAIL], or by post to [COMPANY POSTAL ADDRESS].
