Web Development
WordPress Theme Development
Build a standards-compliant WordPress theme from an empty folder: the template hierarchy, enqueueing assets properly, and packaging a theme for distribution.
This course takes you from an empty directory to a theme you could hand to a client. It is deliberately unopinionated about page builders and frameworks: everything here is the WordPress API itself, which is what still works after the next major release.
You will need a local WordPress install, a code editor, and some familiarity with HTML, CSS and basic PHP. No build tooling is required at any point.
This is demo content installed by WH LMS. Remove it from WH LMS → Settings once you no longer need it.
